As I sit here watching the Super Bowl, I thought I would share a quick little nibble I made to use up some won ton wrappers I had leftover from another recipe.
Baked Brie Bites
with Pecans, Brown Sugar and Honey
Your favorite Brie Cheese
WonTon Wrappers
Pecans (chopped)
Brown Sugar
Honey

Line muffin tin with WonTon wrappers. I found that using 2 wrappers was better than just one because as the cheese and sugar melted it was less apt to leak.
Cut brie into cubes. I found that a few small pieces melted better than one large block.

Sprinkle each "bite" with brown sugar (about 1 Tbsp), pecans and then drizzle with honey (1-2 tsp.)
Bake until cheese is melted and WonTon wrappers are crisp (for me it was about 10 minutes):
They are best served warm, although they were still good after they had cooled to room temperature. Enjoy!
Yum! I did something similar with brie and red pepper jelly :)
ReplyDeleteI love Brie! These look great! Thanks for sharing :)

I've never actually made anything with Brie. Maybe someday!
ReplyDeleteLove this! {Minus the bacon!} I often make brie for girls nights, but it's so messy. This is genius. Pinning now.
