LEGO Minifigure Printable Valentines

LEGO valentines It’s February again!  That means it is time to make another set of school valentines!

This year my 5 year old is OBSESSED with LEGOs and so that was the theme he wanted for his school Valentines.

This is what I came up with:
Everything is awesome lego valentine
A lego minfig on a card featuring the phrase “When you are my Valentine everything is awesome"
Cute right?  Especially cute when you make dozens of them: LEGO valentines
Every valentine has a different character (wouldn’t it be cute if you matched the mini-figs with the recipients? I wasn’t patient enough for that.. but you could!)

Free Printable Star Wars School Valentines30 Free Printable Star Wars School Valentines. So many great ideas for boys and girls.. from the entire movie series!
Anyone who knows me knows I am sort of crazy about Star Wars.   Like CRAZY!! And my kids are the same way too.  So I have been looking up cute free printable school valentine ideas from other bloggers that are Star Wars themed.

Shockingly, I’ve never done one myself, but there are so many fantastic Star Wars school valentines already floating around on Pinterest that I figured I could just use one of them.   But deciding which was my favorite was nearly impossible.  So I have rounded up 25 of my favorites.

30 Star Wars Inspired School Valentines

My Top 10 School Valentine Projects

Since I have three kids, over the years I have shared quite a few school Valentine ideas on the blog  So today I thought, instead of making you scroll back through the archives I would instead bring them all to you in one post, so you can find them all in one place.

I took the 12 posts that were the most popular (based on the number of people who had viewed the post and/or clicked and downloaded the file, if one was available.

Paper Popsicle Garland (Personalized)

Personalized summer popsicle banner
Today I want to share with you my FIRST EVER ‘print then cut' file for you Cricut machine. I’ve shared a lot of cut files/SVGs in the past, but this kicks it up to a whole new level.  This “Summer” popsicle banner is too cute for words.  The files include both the full banner as well as just the popsicles.
Summer popsicle exampel
If you have never used it, the print then cut feature is great for making things like stickers or cards since you can get a tight and accurate cut around the outside of your image.

If you don’t have a Cricut machine I’ve also made alternative versions of the file so you can use them as darling summer printables. Here is an example I made using this file:

How to Print Then Cut With A Cricut Machine

Print and cut personalized popsicle banner
Have you tried a Print then Cut project with your Cricut machine yet?  I think it is one of the more intimidating techniques to try since it has so many steps.. so many places where something could go wrong. But fear not! Today I'm going to walk you through the entire print then cut program in your Cricut Design space software and with your Cricut machine.

I’ve used the print then cut feature on my Silhouette machine (they call it “Print AND Cut”)  for a long long time, but I only just recently learned how to use it with my Cricut machine. It is quite a bit different and since I’ve started giving away print then cut files I thought I should give you a quick tutorial on how to actually USE them.

To get you started head over to the popsicle banner post and grab the file.. I’ll walk you through exactly how to use it:

Spending My Valentine's Day (Han) Solo SVG

Han Solo on Tshirt
Valentine’s Day may be for lovers, but I know not everyone is a fan.. so this year I wanted to make sure to include all the singles in my printable and SVG valentine projects.

Who better to represent the unhitched masses than my man Han Solo!

As my project for the Cricut Craft and Create challenge I made a tongue in check valentine for all the singles. Of course, if you need a more traditional valentine, check out these other fabulous projects from the rest of the team:

I was able to simplify the silhouette and text enough to make it scalable.  Easy enough to weed, even on a small project, like this coffee cup:

Or large enough to make an HTV tee shirt. (REMEMBER TO MIRROR IF YOU ARE USING HTV!) Han Solo Valentine on Tshirt
Of course, you don’t have to make this a vinyl project, you could also just print it out as a card or printable.. I have the printable PDF available as well.  HAN SOLO VALENTINE Printable

"It is Great to Be Eight" Birthday Treats

Great to be 8 donut treat topper
It is great to be eight, free printable treat toppers. Make figure 8's out of mini donuts! A great favor or school treat idea for 8 year old birthdays!
When my oldest daughter turned eight (a few years ago now) we needed a quick and easy favor to bring to school for her classmates.   I originally got the idea for a little "8" made out of donuts from Kendra of Me and My Insanity. We didn't want an entire party with an 'Eight is Great!' theme, but the favors were perfect.

We'll Always Have Love and Laundry

Love and laundry gold printable
They say there are only two sure things in life: Death and Taxes, but I disagree.  In our house there are at least two more sure things: Love and Laundry.

If you have children in your household, you know the struggle that is laundry day.  It seems as though once you get through one load of laundry, the next is already sitting there waiting to be washed. In our house, the clean clothes don’t make it out of the laundry basket, let alone put away properly.

Hand Lettered Cactus Watercolor Printable

If you have been following me on Instagram, you may have noticed I’ve become a tad obsessed with hand lettering.  It is so hot and trendy right now, and in the past I have tried and tried and tried to learn it, to no avail.

But this past week, Jocie from One Project Closer launched an online course to learn hand lettering and something has finally clicked!  WoodenSigns
Granted, I’ve been practicing for a week now, and I’m nowhere near as good as Jocie, but what I don’t have in skill, I make up for in sarcasm.  Hence this week’s free printable:
Painting little prick with cactus
I wanted a play on the cactus/succulent trend, but nothing too cutesy, since watercolor+succulents is already pretty twee.  So I added some snarky hand lettering and I had my finished product!   I have the file available in an 8’x8’ high resolution download if you’d like a copy.

Teacher Appreciation Day Printable Thank You Notes

Teacher Appreciation Day Printable Thank You Notes
Once again I’m the Teacher Appreciation day coordinator for my daughter’s class and so once again I’m on a mission to find cute ideas for classroom gifts. This year I am assembling a book with thank you notes from each of the kids in class telling our classroom teacher why we appreciate her.  I thought this would be really easy.. I’d just go to Pinterest, find cute little template, print it out and VOILA.  No sweat!

But I was wrong.

Although I could find some printables, they were either too cutesy for 10 year olds, they were intended for the end of the school year, or they were more of generic printable thank you note.

Therefore I had to make my own.

One Day You'll Miss Your Kids' Laundry - Free Printable

Monson Quote about Laundry Printable
Free Laundry Room Kids PrintableIf you are a mom of kids who still live at home, you are probably facing MOUNDS and MOUNDS of laundry every week.  Laundry is high on my list of my least favorite chores (well, not so much washing but, but folding it and putting it away!)  And now that my kids are heading back to school and starting all their fall sports, the amount of laundry they generate has definitely gone up!

But I recently came across this quote from Thomas Monson and I was struck by how close it hit home:
"If you are still in the process of raising children be aware that the piles and piles of laundry will disappear all too soon and that you will, to your surprise, miss them profoundly.”

Plastic Bug School Valentine (Free Printable)

Printable bug school valentinesMake these darling bug school valentines. There are actually FOUR DIFFERENT designs. Free printable files are available for download!
Yes! I am back with ANOTHER school valentine.. but remember, I have three kids, so I have to make a LOT of school valentines.  Last week I shared the chalkboard valentine that my oldest daughter is giving out, and today I’m focusing on my littlest one.  My 3 year old son.

When we were walking around the dollar store looking at what we could use, he zeroed in on the plastic BUGS.

Now, I’m not sure about you, but typically I don’t associate a romantic holiday with creepy crawler little critters, but I am also not a 3 year old boy.. so I decided to roll with it.

It actually works out really well, since you can get a 6 pack of bugs at the dollar store for $1 so you can make a lot of these guys for hardly any money.  Here is how they came together:

Mini-Chalkboard School Valentines (Free Printable)

Chalk and chalkboard printable valentine
Adorable chalk and chalkboard school valentines.. "Chalk full of Love" and "Boom CHALK-a-laka" Inexpensive, easy to make and she includes the free printable template!
Yay! It is almost school valentine time again! And you know how much I love homemade valentines. (If you don't know that.. check out this post).

Anyhow.. this year I wanted to do something trendy and unique.. something I had seen floating around a lot (which is hard to find.. trendy usually means lots of knock offs) but I think I am on to something.

I partnered with Cost Plus World Market for this project.  I chose which products to select and feature and all opinions are my own.
Tailgate Picnic TableDon't forget anything when you throw your next tailgate party. A free printable party check list perfect for game day or a picnic

It is almost time for the Super Bowl and in our house that means TAILGATING!

We LOVE tailgating!  But even I will admit it can be a hassle to get everything together.  And forgetting something is the WORST since once you are in the middle of a stadium parking lot, there is no running home for something.

Matchbox Car Valentines (Free Printable)

Car ValentinesMatchbox Car Valentines Printables
It is time to start thinking about what sort of school valentine the kids want to hand out this year.  I didn’t want to spend more than $10 on them (for 30 cards) so I took the kids to the dollar store and told them to look around for something that they liked and that came with multiples in a package.

My kindergartener found these imitation matchbox cars and I knew we could come up with something to do with them.

2017 Goal Planner Printables to Help You Stay on Track

Free Printable Annual Goal Setting Worksheets. What a great way to plan and be accountable for the new year. Comes in a single 8x10 printable or 2 per sheet for small half size planners.

Hi everyone! It's Pam from CleverLittleMouse.com and, for once, I don't have a sewing tutorial to share with you. Mainly because my craft room looks like this at the moment:

I can see my sewing machine, way back behind that ginormous pile o' stuff. I just can't get to it. And I can't find my rotary cutter, or my quilt ruler or my good scissors... That's what I get for deciding to remodel my sewing room in the middle of December, in and around all the holiday craziness. I'm hoping it will be put back together with new bookshelves and freshly painted walls in the next week or so, but in the meantime I had to find a non-sewing way to indulge my creative side. And since poor planning on my part is what created this mess in the first place, I decided to design some printables to help me get my planning act together for the new year.
