Recently my daughter was invited to a Harry Potter themed sleep over birthday and wanted a fun bag to bring her stuff. I’ve been working on a cross stitch design featuring all the Harry Potter icons and knew it would be easy to convert the original file into an SVG and that is exactly what I did!

I love how it turned out, and any individual element would be cute, but combined into a heart is perfection.

It’s February again!  That means it is time to make another set of school valentines!

This year my 5 year old is OBSESSED with LEGOs and so that was the theme he wanted for his school Valentines.

This is what I came up with:

Every valentine has a different character (wouldn’t it be cute if you matched the mini-figs with the recipients? I wasn’t patient enough for that.. but you could!)

Valentine’s day is fast approaching and I’m putting together our annual school valentines.

Anyone who knows me knows I am sort of crazy about Star Wars.   Like CRAZY!! And my kids are the same way too.  So I have been looking up cute free printable school valentine ideas from other bloggers that are Star Wars themed.

Shockingly, I’ve never done one myself, but there are so many fantastic Star Wars school valentines already floating around on Pinterest that I figured I could just use one of them.   But deciding which was my favorite was nearly impossible.  So I have rounded up 25 of my favorites.

30 Star Wars Inspired School Valentines

It may only be the end of August, but I already have fall on my mind!   So today I am crafting PUMPKINS!   Why? Because if fall had to choose a vegetable mascot, it would be the pumpkin!

These shimmery and glittery paper pumpkins feature two different types of materials.  Orange foil posterboard as well as copper shimmer paper.  Since the only thing better than pumpkins are GLITTERY pumpkins.

I wanted to share this quick tutorial today for anyone who is using my print and cut (or just regular cut files) on their Cricut software but only wants to use part of the image. Sometimes you will get a file containing multiple images or motifs and you want to only use certain parts of the file.

I have shared exactly how the Cricut scoring wheels work in previous posts, and today I wanted to just share this adorable project idea, perfect for the start of a new school year.

This is a three dimensional folded apple made out of nothing more than cardstock and a bamboo skewer. It would be super cute with a gift card attached as a teacher gift, or you could add names to the leaves as place cards in the fall.   You could also use it as a gift topper or make a bunch and fill a basket for holiday decor.

And it takes nothing more than 2 sheets of cardstock! YES! So simple! 

It is that time of year again.. SCHOOL VALENTINE TIME!  And once again, I'm hitting the dollar store to find affordable bulk trinkets that will make good Valentine SWAG!
