Now that I have finished my powder room, the stairs, and my family room cabinetry, the next big project that will complete updating my downstairs is the kitchen.
I started out with this:
And updated the lighting:
and added hardware:
I updated the appliances to stainless steel (real and faux):
and ended up with this:
And although that is a lot of progress, I am want to make some more major changes. Here are some of the inspiration ideas I have for the "new" kitchen. (For more ideas you can also check out my Pinterest Kitchen Board)
First up, I love the mis-matched island and cabinets like this:

I want to change my faucet out as well, and I want to match it to my hardware so I am thinking along these lines:

There is so much inspiration out there. I just have to decide and then DO IT! But that is always the hardest part isn't it?
