I too
want to tackle my MB but I’m trying to hold off a couple more months and save
some money. Are you completely tearing out your vanity and replacing it or are
you going to re-use it? Do you have a color theme picked out? Your bathroom
looks large so that is a major plus. I can’t even imagine tearing out the
shower but I know you can do it J. I’m looking into the Onyx collection for replacing my shower.
Have you seen these showers? They looks great and there is no grout. I’m not
sure of the cost though. I would love a tiled shower but after seeing my DH
tile job in the kitchen, I’ll be passing… Anyways, good luck. I can’t wait to
see more!Heather Shaynenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-729633223815226097.post-54910851301086765292012-10-09T06:52:25.543-07:002012-10-09T06:52:25.543-07:00I am looking forward to seeing this progress. I'm really hoping on 2013 being the year of my new master bath! Go for it! I probably would have just replaced them with smaller framed versions, painted and gone on from there. Good luck and keep us posted. My dad always said that any plumbing job takes at least three trips to the hardware store. I'm hoping you won't have too many!

Have you heard of a ReStore? These are stores run by Habitat for Humanity volunteers, and they sell gently used home-improvement goods for a fraction of the retail cost. You might be able to find some really good deals there. My sister and her fiance have been rehabbing the house they bought and found some good appliances and counter tops in the Milwaukee store. They have stores in almost every state! http://www.habitat.org/restores/Jennifer McTavishnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-729633223815226097.post-9704063324168406622012-10-08T09:34:56.183-07:002012-10-08T09:34:56.183-07:00Wow, this is an ambitious project. I know ours cost about $2400, but we might have a bit more glass than your shower will need. Although I have to say that I don't think this bathroom is too bad! A lot of mirrors, yes. All I would've done is paint the cabinets and hang a few pictures instead of some of the mirrors. I don't think the shower is bad, either. But I'm curious to see your changes. ;)
Jue (from inside 9B)Julenoreply@blogger.com
