My m...Boy, did this post bring back some memories! My mom's kitchen had those brown appliances, avocado green counters and mustard vinyl flooring with dark wood cabinets. Then the wallpaper was striped in varying shades of green with white! Then the living room had a mustard sofa with flecks of avocado, a left-over orange vinyl rocker from grandma's house and a gold crushed velvet recliner mom bought from a neighbor. All on top of celery-colored shag carpet that came with the house. Needless to say, my mom wasn't much of a decorator.Helen Valenzuelanoreply@blogger.com
