Fourth of July Mantle for Under $10

With the fourth of July just around the corner, and since I have already started decorating the outside of my house, I decided it was time to deck out my mantle (and as always, do it cheaply).

I decided to go with a stars and stripes theme, so I started with some wooden stars from the craft store that I painted along with a wrought iron star I already had:
I previously wrote about my patriotic beans which I set out for Memorial day and I was able to re-use them here along with a bunch of mini-flags I got at the dollar store:

I was also able to incorporate a couple of my faux milk glass vases that I've blogged about before:
I added a "USA" wall hanging I found at the dollar store and and swagged some star gift wrap twine along the front of the mantle.
I finished it up with a stars and stripes pennant garland. Originally I was planning on making my own, along the same lines as the banner I made for my easter mantle, but when I saw this one for only $1 I couldn't pass it up:
The cost breakdown:
Craft Store:
Wooden Stars (3): $2.67

Dollar Store:
Pennant Banner: $1
USA Plaque: $1
Star Garland: $1
Mini Flags (2 3-packs): $2

Grocery Store:
Beans (bulk): $2

TOTAL COST: $9.67
For only $10 I think it came out great!

God Bless the USA!
